Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026.
This policy covers Unread Archive Pipeline, a private tool operated by the owner of the YouTube channel The Unread Archive. It has one user, the channel owner.
Data we access
When the owner signs in with Google, the tool can access, with the owner's permission: the owner's own YouTube channel and video list (read only), the owner's own channel analytics (read only), and the ability to upload videos and thumbnails to the owner's own channel. It accesses nothing else, and no data about other YouTube users.
How we use it
The data is used only to upload the owner's videos on a schedule and to show the owner how their own videos perform, so publishing times can be chosen sensibly. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
Storage and sharing
The sign-in token is stored in a file with restricted permissions on the owner's own computer. Channel statistics are kept in files on the same computer. We do not sell, share, publish, or transfer this data to anyone, except that videos the owner chooses to upload are published to YouTube.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the tool is in use. The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and can delete the token and statistics files at any time; deleting them removes all stored Google data.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services, and the owner is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
